I personally teach every student. We meet for live, individual sessions where you can ask questions, share your work and understand why I recommend a particular approach. You will not be buying a library of recorded lessons.

I take only a limited number of students because I handle the training myself. We’ll agree on a timetable before enrolment, with time for you to practise between sessions. I’ll confirm availability when we discuss your goals.

Who should choose wordpress website building?

This programme is intended for beginners, small-business owners and marketers who want practical control of a WordPress site. You do not need to arrive as a programmer. You do need a laptop, time to practise and a willingness to test your work on smaller screens.

Learning route

What I will teach you

Weeks 1–2 · Plan and prepare

Create a site map, identify the pages a customer needs and distinguish domains, hosting and WordPress administration. Discuss backups and safe working copies before editing an existing business website.

Weeks 3–4 · Build the core pages

Work with page layouts, navigation, reusable styles and appropriately sized images. Develop an accessible heading structure and useful button labels. Build the homepage and a service page with different jobs in the customer journey.

Weeks 5–6 · Forms and discovery

Add an enquiry form, test validation and explain the path from submission to notification. Review titles, descriptions, URLs and internal links. Learn why a working form and clear content matter more than a large collection of plugins.

Weeks 7–8 · Quality checks and maintenance

Review mobile layouts, broken links, image loading and basic performance. Prepare an update and backup routine, document the installed components and create a launch checklist with reversible steps.

Planning: visitor tasks, the business offer, page list and navigation.
WordPress foundations: pages, posts, categories, themes and plugins.
Layout: sections, heading hierarchy, spacing and reusable styles.
Media: relevant images, alternative text and sensible file sizes.
Enquiries: form labels, required fields, confirmation messages and notification checks.
Search basics: URLs, titles, descriptions and useful internal links.
Testing: smaller screens, keyboard navigation, broken links and performance basics.
Maintenance: backups, updates, licences and recovery notes.

The website we will build together

I’ll help you turn a simple business brief into a compact website with a homepage, service information and a clear contact route. We start with the content and visitor journey, then choose how the pages should look. That avoids filling an attractive template with sections the business does not need.

As you build, keep a log of important changes and the reason for each plugin. We’ll review the full journey from navigation to enquiry confirmation. The site needs to work as a whole; a polished homepage alone is not the finished project.

Our final review

We’ll check wide and narrow layouts, follow key links and review how images load. You’ll examine form labels, visible keyboard focus and heading order. I’ll also explain the difference between a practice website that should stay out of search and a public website ready for discovery.

You will prepare a handover note covering where to edit key content, how to make a backup and what to check after an update. My aim is for you to understand how to maintain your work after the training sessions finish.

Before we start

Bring a laptop and reliable internet for online sessions. Speak to me before purchasing hosting or premium licences; we can decide what the practice project actually requires. Those costs are separate unless included in the agreed scope.

Can we work on your existing site?

Yes, with ownership or permission and a safe working copy. We agree on backups before editing a live business website. This course covers practical website building, not advanced PHP programming, custom payment systems or complex application development.

What we will create in practice

Your project is a compact business website with a homepage, service information, contact route and maintenance notes. The review looks at whether a visitor can understand the offer and take the next step. Use a practice environment or obtain approval before touching a live client site.

How I will help you use AI

Use AI to explore page outlines, simplify explanations and help interpret non-sensitive error messages. Review any suggested code before using it and test changes in a safe environment. Never let a generated answer replace a backup or a check of what changed.

Questions about wordpress website building training

Are hosting and premium plugins included?

The ₹20,000 + GST fee covers training; GST is additional to the listed base training fee. Domains, hosting and optional premium licences are separate unless expressly included in the agreed scope.

Will this cover custom plugin development?

No. The course focuses on building and maintaining business websites. Advanced PHP development and complex custom applications need a different learning plan.

Can I practise on my existing website?

Yes, if you own it or have permission. We first decide how to make backups and test changes without disrupting the live site.
